Description
The village pump and trough, located approximately 10 metres south of numbers 66 and 72, dates from the mid to late 19th century. The pump is made of cast iron and features a circular shaft with moulded rings, a fluted top with a splayed spout, and a fluted domed cap topped with a finial. It has a curved handle and includes a cast maker's plate inscribed with "LION /...... / WOLVERHAMPTON". The trough is constructed from grey sandstone and has rounded front corners. Please note that numbers 66 and 72 are not included in this listing.
