Description
This building is one of a pair of cottages located in Great Barrington Village, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof with an ashlar stack. The cottage has a rectangular plan and is 1½ storeys high. The upper floor is illuminated by a single 19th to 20th century two-light roof dormer with leaded panes. The right gable end has a two-light stone-mullioned casement with leaded panes on the upper floor, while the ground floor features a two-light casement with leaded panes. Access to the cottage is through a 20th century plank door located in the left gable end. The interior has not been inspected. This property is part of the Barrington Park Estate.
