Description
The Old Bakehouse is a detached cottage dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and featuring a stone stack. The building has a rectangular plan with a lean-to at the right-hand end and stands at one and a half storeys high. The facade has two-light windows, with the upper floor illuminated by two slate-hung, two-light gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are two two-light windows from the 19th century on either side of a central 19th-century plank door that has a glazed panel, accessed by three steps. All the casements include horizontal glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected. The building is listed mainly for its group value.
