Description
The former orangery, located approximately 80 meters east of Wick House Hotel, dates from the 18th century and is currently used as an office. It is constructed of brick with an ashlar facade and features a slate roof. The building has long rectangular piers and a symmetrical facade with a window arrangement of 1:11:1. The central section includes tall 2-light fixed casements without glazing bars, with fixed 8-pane lights above. There is a central door designed similarly, accessed by three semi-circular stone steps. Doric pilasters are positioned between the windows, although the outer pairs of pilasters appear to be from the 20th century. At both ends of the building, there are pedimented gables, each featuring a central pair of glazed double doors with glazing bars, also accessed by two semi-circular stone steps. The interior has not been inspected. The 20th-century rendered lean-to extensions at the rear are not considered of special interest.
