Description
Nos 18 and 19 Wyck Rissington are a pair of cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, featuring a concrete tile roof on the main body and stone slate roofing on the extensions at each gable end. The cottages are 1½ storeys high, with single-storey wash-house extensions at both gable ends. The front facade is a mirror image, showcasing two 19th-century three-light casement windows with segmental-headed surrounds on the ground floor. Above, there are two two-light eaves dormers. The central part of the facade includes two plank doors, also within segmental-headed surrounds, with similar doors on the wash-house extensions on either side. Gable-end stacks are present, and there is a crown chimney pot on the wash-house extension to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
