Description

The Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof with ashlar stacks. The building has an 'L' shaped plan and stands two storeys tall. The symmetrical facade has two windows, which are lit by two-light casements with glazing bars. A central 19th-century four-panelled door is set within a lattice work porch. There is a curving projection from the left-hand side, which may have originally been a bread oven and is now used as a larder. The main body of the cottage has gable-end stacks, both of which were restored in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
