Description
This large barn, located about 130 meters northwest of North Farmhouse, likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from random coursed rubble stone and features a partly restored stone slate roof. On the east side, slightly left of center, there is a projecting gabled cart entry with a timber lintel and double timber doors, along with a small plank door with a timber lintel on the left-hand return of the projection. There is a similar projecting gabled entry on the west side. The barn consists of nine bays, with much of the roof timber renewed. It has two trusses that are probably in their original form, featuring cross braced collar beams. Each gable end has three slit vents at the apex, with loft doors below, although the southern loft door is blocked.
