Description

This barn, located approximately 15 meters east of Pinchpool Farmhouse, is dated 1833, as indicated by a datestone set into the gable of the porch on the south side. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The barn has a rectangular plan and features single projecting porches on both the north and south sides. The south side has a gabled porch, while the north side has a lean-to porch. The gable ends have flat coping. Inside, there are four bays with original collar and tie roof trusses. The barn is situated next to Pinchpool Farmhouse and is part of a farmyard group.
