Description

WINDRUSH - SP 1913 10/235 Barn cl5m east of Pinchpool Farmhouse (formerly listed under Pinchpool Farmhouse and Barns) 23.1.52 GV II

Barn dated 1833 on datestone set into gable of porch on south side. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof. Rectangular plan with single projecting porches on north and south sides. Gabled porch on south side, lean-to porch on north side. Flat coping at gable ends. Interior; 4 bays with original collar and tie roof trusses. Barn lies adjacent to Pinchpool Farmhouse (q.v.) and forms one element within a farmyard group.
