Description

DIDMARTON THE STREET ST 8287 (south side) 15/84 Unidentified Monument, about 3m north of north transept in churchyard of Church of St. Lawrence GV II

Chest tomb. Unidentifed, Revd Morgan --------, 1821. Limestone. Flat top, moulded capping, plain plinth on large raised base. Slightly recessed ends have thin horizontal fluting to corners, plain ends, 2 large shield panels to both sides with stag figures to north, and half length horse or donkey to shield on left to south, with foliage surrounds. Two large pieces eroded from capping.
