Description
This is a chest tomb located about 3 meters north of the north transept in the churchyard of the Church of St. Lawrence. It is dedicated to an unidentified Reverend Morgan, who passed away in 1821. The tomb is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded capping and a plain plinth on a large raised base. The slightly recessed ends have thin horizontal fluting at the corners, while the plain ends display two large shield panels on both sides. The northern shield features stag figures, and the southern shield depicts a half-length horse or donkey, both surrounded by foliage. There are two large eroded sections on the capping.
