Description
The Morgan Monument is a short chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 7 meters north of the southeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. It commemorates Richard Morgan, who died in 1814, and is made of stone. The tomb features a flat lid with a moulded edge and raised, moulded frames on the sides. The ends are adorned with elongated Roman Doric pilasters, which include a base and stem that match the sides. The plinth has a moulded top and a flat stone base. There are later inscriptions present on the monument.
