The barn has a five-bay central section with a north porch and lofted sections at each end, separated by dividing walls. The north side has a central gabled porch with a doorway that includes a timber lintel and plank doors. On the south side, the barn doorway has been refitted with sliding doors beneath a lean-to door hood. There are stone steps leading to the lofts at each end, with a projecting stone slab landing. The west loft has a segmental arched doorway, while the east loft features a doorway with a timber lintel. Square vents are present in the barn, and the ends of the building are gabled with parapets.
