Description
Laurel Cottage is a small, detached house dating from the mid-to-late 17th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone with rubble chimneys and a stone slate roof. The front elevation features a two-window arrangement, with recessed, chamfered, two-light mullioned casement windows. Hoodmoulds are present above the ground-floor windows. A central doorway has a plank door and a 19th-century timber gabled porch. Two chimneys rise from the ridge of the roof. A lean-to addition at the west end projects forward towards the road. Some 20th-century alterations have been made to the rear of the property. The interior has not been inspected.
