Description
Havencrest is a detached house located in Duntisbourne Abbots, dating from around 1840, with an earlier wing from the 17th or 18th century. The 19th-century section features coursed limestone, while the older wing is constructed of random rubble with dressed gable coping. The house has a stone-slate roof at the front and plain tile on the reverse slope.
The 19th-century part is two storeys high, with a central hall and one room on the side, and an outshut at the back. The left wing at the front is a single storey with an attic, consisting of one room in plan, and there is a further single-storey flat-roofed room at the end. The front has two 16-pane sash windows and a central plain doorway, all with stone lintels. The wing has altered fenestration with timber and metal casements. There is a single window at each end of the outshut, which features metal casements with concrete lintels. The building is included for its group value.
