Description

This large barn, dating from the late 18th century, is located immediately east of Glebe Cottage in Maiseyhampton. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone with flush quoins, featuring a stone slate roof on the front and a corrugated iron roof at the rear. The barn consists of four bays and has a projecting gabled cart entry that is slightly right of center, flanked by lean-tos of a later date. The lean-to on the left has been converted into a garage, with a door on the north side. The east side of the barn includes an additional tall lean-to. The interior is not accessible.
