Description

This barn, located approximately 40 meters east of Glebe Cottage, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with weatherboarding over timber framing on a stone plinth on part of the right bay and the left gable wall. The roof is half-hipped and thatched. The double-entry features one plank door, which is flanked by splayed ventilation slits. Inside, there is a 4-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins. The barn is included for its group value.
