Description
The barn immediately east of Glebe Cottage is a structure likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a bitumen-painted slate roof that is half-hipped at both ends, having been originally thatched. The barn has a rectangular plan and is aligned with Glebe Cottage. The front of the barn includes a large threshing door, with a smaller door located at the rear. This barn is noted for being an unusual example of an unspoiled small farm building that is associated with a small house. The exterior is single storey and symmetrical, with a pair of timber doors set in a large doorway, ventilation slits at each end, and the smaller rear door. The interior has not been inspected. The barn has group value with Glebe Cottage.
