Description
No. 19 High Street is a detached house with a blind gable end facing the street. It dates from the late 17th century and has been restored. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof, with stone stacks located at the left end and a ridge stack to the right of the center. The house consists of a single main range with a rear extension that forms an L-shape, standing two storeys tall with an attic.
There are four windows on the front, each with two lights, stone mullions, square hoodmoulds, and metal casements. Below these windows, there are three similar windows, and to the right of the center, there is a recessed boarded door with a timber lintel and a single small light beside it. A small gabled dormer on the right features a U.P.V.C. window. The rear wing has a broad gable facing the street, which includes two 20th-century three-light metal casements, one on each floor, and a door to the left.
