GV II

Former mill-house. Early C18 remodelled mid C19. Coursed rubble with slate roof, coped verges and 3 ashlar chimneys with moulded capping, the right hand one C18 2 storeys in 2 parts. The right hand older, 3 bays, -.3-and 4-light mullion windows with drips, central C19 door; left hand mid C19, 2 bay, in matching style, doorway with voussoirs similar to mill (qv). Parallel C19 range to rear, the whole of the lower part of the left bay of which is a bread oven. A picturesque and well-known group together with Mill (qv) and Bridge (qv).
