Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is constructed of rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof, along with ashlar chimneys that have moulded capping. The building is 2½ storeys tall and has three gabled dormers on the main front, which faces the garden. The façade includes one angled bay and two bays with raised surrounds around the windows, which are glazing bar sashes that vary in arrangement on the ground floor. There is a segment-headed doorway to the right of a late 19th century angled two-storey bay. A stepped chimney is located at the west end, and there is a gable light in the attic of the west gable. Additionally, there is a hipped dormer on the rear elevation facing the road.
