Description

The gate piers to Batsford Park, located within the Batsford Estate, date from the 19th century. They are made of ashlar limestone and feature wrought iron railings and gates. The piers are rusticated square structures topped with moulded caps and large ball finials. On either side, there are spear-headed railings extending to a rock-faced pier on the right, with decorative double wrought iron gates positioned between the piers.
