Description
The left gatepier, walls, and gate to Bitham Hall date from the mid-19th century and are constructed from limestone ashlar. The structure features two square piers topped with steep moulded pyramidal caps and ball finials, while the left gatepier is similar but taller. The walls are coped and include both straight and quadrant sections. The gate is made of cast and wrought iron, adorned with quatrefoiled circular panels and scroll ornament inspired by Romanesque design. The right edge of the gate features a Wyvern finial, and there is anthemia cresting present.
