Description

Nos. 8-16 Park Lane is a row of five houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared limestone and topped with a Welsh slate roof, featuring two brick ridge stacks and one brick stack at the right end. The houses are arranged in a convex curve that follows the line of the street.

The row is two stories high and has a total of twelve windows. On the first floor, there are ten two-light leaded casements set in plain reveals, each with flat arch lintels and stone cills, along with two similar blind windows. The ground floor features seven pointed windows, five of which have Y tracery casements with leaded lights, also in plain reveals with stone cills, and two similar blind windows. There are five 20th-century doors, each with four panels and the upper two panels glazed, set in plain reveals with flat arch lintels. A band course runs above the ground floor, and there are flush quoins at the left and right angles. The interiors have not been inspected.
