Description
Nos. 7-11 on Oxford Street are a row of three houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature a gabled concrete tile roof, with Welsh slates on the rear, except for an old tile roof on the rear wing of No. 7. The houses have brick end and ridge stacks and a double-depth plan. They are two storeys tall with an attic and have a four-window range.
There is a flat stone arch above a 19th-century six-panelled door located to the left of the center, with keyed stone lintels over early 19th-century six-panelled doors. Wrought-iron brackets support a flat hood over the left door, while a bracketed stone hood is above the adjacent doors to the right. Keyed stone lintels also feature over six-pane sash windows, including smaller sashes to the right. The houses have hipped half dormers with three six-pane sashes each and three gabled wings at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are included for their group value.
