Description

This headstone, located approximately 6 metres north of the Church of St John the Baptist in Hatherleigh, is dated 1788 and commemorates Mary Aundell. It is made of slate and features a rounded top with a crudely carved winged angel's head, along with decorative carvings on the sides. Behind the headstone is a footstone that faces the opposite direction, which has an hourglass carved at the top and an epitaph below.
