5/344 Yalford Cottages - II

Pair of identical adjoining cottages. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble with brick dressings and slate roof hipped at ends. 2 stacks: a large brick stack on the ridge in the centre and a second brick stack on the ridge at the right-hand end. Each cottage has a symmetrical 3-bay front. 2 storeys. Gabled stone porches each have a segmental brick arch to the outer doorway. Ground floor windows are 2-light casements with high transoms, 4-panes above the transom, 6-panes below. The first floor windows are gabled half-dormers with 2-light casements, 8-panes per light under flat brick arches. Interior not inspected.
