Description
2 Pen-Porth is a pair of estate cottages built in the late 19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone and feature a slate roof with eaves and a central red brick chimney stack. The cottages are two stories tall and are designed as mirrored pairs. Each cottage has small-paned casement windows with cambered heads. There are outer paired casements on either side, and an inner triple casement below a first-floor paired casement located in a gabled dormer that extends through the eaves. The windows have slate sills and the stone voussoirs above the window heads alternate in color. The gable ends also feature a similar pair of casements on the first floor, while the rear of the cottages has an outshut with a door for each cottage, flanked by windows.
