Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with later additions. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof and stone chimneys. The building has a single depth plan at its core, with wings on the left and right that may have been added later. It stands two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with an off-centre entrance located on the left. The windows are arranged irregularly. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams, including a chamfered cross beam, and a large fireplace. The description is approximate as thorough access was not possible during the survey in 1984. The farmhouse has been described by Hoskins as a "good Elizabethan house in local stone" and is noted to have been a manor house of the Cloberry family.
