Description

The structure consists of a pair of lime kilns, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They feature rubble walls and a slate drip course located below the parapet. The kilns are arranged back-to-back and are square in shape, each having a round-headed arched opening that includes a projecting granite keystone. There is a buttress at the center of the left-hand side. Inside, the kilns have a stone vaulted roof with a granite framed flue at the rear, which has been partially filled in.
