6/10 Lime kilns at SX 434646 - - II

Pair of lime kilns. Probably late C18/early C19. Rubble walls with slate dripcourse below parapet. Back-to-back lime kilns square on plan each with round-headed arched opening which has projecting granite keystone. Buttress at centre of left-hand side. Interior: stone vaulted roof with granite framed flue at rear, partially filled in.
