Description

Thatched Cottage, located immediately to the east of The Green Dragon Inn, is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. The structure features rendered cob and rubble walls, and a thatched roof that is gabled at the left end and hipped at the right. There is a brick stack at the left gable end. The original layout consisted of a two-room plan, with the larger heated room on the left. The cottage is two storeys tall and has an asymmetrical front with two windows; the 20th-century casements include a three-light window on the ground floor. The lower 20th-century addition at the left end has a flat canopy roof in front. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the survey.
