Description
This is a barn dating from the late 18th century, located immediately to the south of Corstone Farmhouse. The barn features cob walls with some stone rubble and has a corrugated iron roof that is hipped at the right-hand end and gabled at the left end where it connects to the farmhouse. The barn has a long rectangular plan and includes two threshing floors. It is a single-storey structure with a wide cart entrance on the right side, a tall narrower doorway to the left of the center, and a small doorway at the left end. There are shallow buttresses along the front wall and at the right-hand end. One original wooden framed slit window remains below the eaves. The interior has a 20th-century tie-beam roof.
