LAMERTON LAMERTON SX 47 NE 3/55 - Sleman and Stephens monuments in the churchyard about 8m south of south aisle of Church of St Peter GV II

2 headstones. C18. Slate. Headstone to William Sleman, 1761, nowy-headed with moulded edge, carved primitive skull and crossed bones, fine lettering. Headstone to John Stephens, 1789, has scrolled top with raised edge, pilasters with tripartite capitals to sides, cherub's head with wings to top, good lettering.
