Description

The first headstone is for John Frise, dated 1752, and features a nowy head with an angel and trumpet carved in relief, crossed bones and arrows, cherubs, and a border of stylized flowers on the sides, along with good lettering. The second headstone commemorates Thomas Frise, from 1773, also nowy-headed, adorned with a broken-stemmed flower, heart, hourglass, and memento mori, with good lettering. The third headstone is for Thomas Mayjor, dated 1754, and has a nowy head with a primitive skull and crossed bones, hourglass, heart, and flowers. Lastly, the headstone for Elizabeth Mayjor, dated 1743, is cracked and features a nowy head with a primitive skull, crossed bones, flowers, and admonitory verses.
