Description

The Williams and Davey monuments are two headstones located in the churchyard about 3 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St Peter. These 18th-century headstones are made of slate. One is dedicated to Grace Williams, dated 1794, featuring a rounded top with a carved head of a cherub and wings, along with a decorative border and a verse below the inscription. The other headstone is for Grace Davey, also from 1794, which has a scrolled top, a similar cherub and wings design, and matching carvings on the sides, with a verse below the inscription.
