Description

The Baker monument is a headstone located in the churchyard, about 1 meter north of the tower of the Church of St Peter in Lamerton. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a shaped top adorned with the head of a cherub and wings, along with a raised carved border surrounding the inscription panel. It commemorates John Baker, who died in 1767, as well as other members of the family.
