Description

This is a late 18th-century headstone located about 13 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. Made of slate, the headstone is designed as an adjoining pair, featuring a double curved top with shouldered corners. The inscriptions commemorate two members of the Cole family who died in 1786, although their Christian names are indecipherable.
