Description

This is a late 18th-century headstone made of slate, located about 15 meters southwest of the porch of the Church of St Mary. It commemorates George Hawton, who was buried in 1778. The headstone features a nowy (arched) top with a stylized pot of flowers carved into it, and there is a verse below the inscription.
