Description

The headstone located against the west wall of the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary is from the late 17th century and is made of limestone. It features a square inscription plaque framed by twisted columns, which are topped with swags of flowers, draperies, and a head. The inscription commemorates Mary, the wife of Richard Hawes, who died in 1683. The headstone is positioned approximately 7 meters west of the west wall of the tower.
