Description

This is a headstone dated 1791, located approximately 3 metres east-south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Mary in North Huish. It is made of slate and features a square head. On either side of the front, there are two pilasters with incised zigzag decoration in the arch above. The headstone contains an inscription in memory of John Lang and includes the name of the mason, R Shepheard of Modbury, inscribed at the bottom.
