Description
Broad Nymett Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century, with a 20th-century addition. The structure features rendered stone walls and a gable-ended slate roof, along with two brick gable end stacks. The original part of the farmhouse has a symmetrical two-room layout with a central stair hall, while the rear 20th-century wing, also consisting of two rooms, replaces a 16th or 17th-century wing. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front with original hornless sash windows, all with 16 panes, except for the central first-floor window which has 12 panes. The central doorcase is adorned with engaged Doric columns and an entablature, and it includes panelled reveals. The entrance features a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above. The interior has not been inspected.
