Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on Bull Hill in Bideford. The front elevation is of solid render, with a slate roof and rebuilt red-brick chimneys on each gable end. The house is two storeys high with a three-window front. A doorway replaces the central ground-floor window, and the corresponding upper-floor window is blind. The doorway has a wooden doorcase with key-patterned pilasters supporting an entablature, and a four-panelled door with matching reveals. All windows except the blind one have shaped cement surrounds. There are six-paned sashes in the left ground-floor window and both upper-floor windows, and an eight-paned sash in the right ground-floor window. A plain board runs below the eaves. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
