Description
No. 9 Lower Meddon Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features solid rendered walls, with some red brick visible at the rear, and has a slate roof. A rendered chimney is located on the right gable. The building is three storeys high and has a two-window range. The central doorway is round-arched and contains a four-panelled door with a knocker. The windows are barred sashes in box-frames, with 8 over 8 panes to the left of the ground storey, 6 over 6 panes to the left of the second storey and in the third storey, and 2 over 2 panes to the right of the ground and second storeys. There is a plain board below the eaves, and a round-arched stair window at the rear features small panes. The interior has not been inspected.
