Description
Twinkletoe Cottage, number 6, is a cottage dating from the later 17th century. It has rendered cob walls and a half-hipped thatched roof. A large rendered rubble rear lateral stack features a brick shaft. The original plan likely consisted of either one large heated room or a large room to the right heated by the rear lateral stack, with a small, unheated service room to the left. It may have originally been part of a larger house. The exterior is asymmetrical with a three-window front on the ground floor, featuring late 20th-century PVC one-light casements. A 19th-century plank door is located on the left-hand side, with a small window positioned above it just beneath the eaves.
