Description

This is an early 19th-century house and shop. It is located on the north side of Winkleigh Fore Street. The walls are rendered, and the roof is covered with slate, with two brick gable-end stacks. The original plan comprised a two-room layout with a central entry and a shop to the left. Later 19th-century additions were made at the rear. The front of the building is symmetrical, with three windows on each floor. The windows are original 12-pane sashes, except for a small 19th-century shop front to the left. A late 19th-century four-panelled door is located at the centre. The interior has not been inspected.
