Description
This small house, located immediately to the south of Arscotts and Arscotts Cottage in Dolton, dates from the early 19th century. It features rendered walls and a gable-ended slate roof. The right gable end has a brick stack, while the left gable end has a projecting rendered rubble stack with a brick shaft. The building has a symmetrical two-room plan with a central entry. The exterior showcases a symmetrical three-window front with original small-paned two- and three-light casements, each topped with a projecting keystone. The central doorway features a contemporary six-panel door. The property includes a low wall in front of the house with iron railings and a gate adorned with fleur-de-Lys finials. The interior has not been inspected.
