Description

No. 72 on Fore Street in Hartland is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features rendered stone rubble walls and a gable-ended roof made of corrugated asbestos. There is a brick chimney stack at the right gable end. The house has a two-room layout with a central entrance, and the heated room is located to the right. The exterior is two storeys high and presents a symmetrical front with three windows, which are original 12-pane hornless sashes. The central door is a 19th-century four-panel design. The interior has not been inspected, but it may still have original joinery.
