GV II

House with shop. Mid C19. Solid rendered front. Slated roof. Rendered chimney on left side-wall. 2 storeys with basement; 3-window range. Round-arched doorway with reeded architrave in middle of ground storey; recessed, 6-panelled door, the 2 lowest panels flush. Window to left has moulded cornice on consoles; plain sashes with horns. Shop front to right has 2-paned display window with a single upright glazing-bar; recessed glazed shop door with solid moulded panel at the bottom and panelled reveals. Across whole shop front a moulded cornice on consoles, 1 at each end and 1 marking the division between display window and door. In second storey the outer windows have 6-paned sashes; middle window is a canted wooden bay with 8-paned sashes at the front and 2-paned ones at the sides, moulded top cornice. Raised band above ground storey, extending to shop front. Giant pilasters flanking both storeys, rising to a shallow modillioned eaves cornice. INTERIOR not inspected.
