Description

This is a headstone located in the churchyard, approximately 16 meters southwest of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary in Bideford. It commemorates Philip Kent of Bideford, who died on June 4, 1752, and James Heard of Bideford, who died on June 12, 1752. The headstone is made of slate and features a rounded top with a simple low-relief carving of a winged angel's head blowing the last trumpet.
