Description
The Hindles is a house located on Tower Street in Bideford, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features solid rendered walls and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with a two-window range. To the right, there is a round-arched doorway with a plain architrave and keystone, leading to a six-panelled door, of which the top two panels are now glazed. The windows have shaped surrounds and are six-paned sashes. The entire front of the house has raised cement quoins. The interior has not been inspected. The front garden is enclosed by a low stone-rubble wall, which includes a section dividing it from No. 12, featuring 19th-century iron railings and a gatepost topped with a finial.
