Description

HINDLEY ATHERTON ROAD SD 60 SW (south side) 10/77 No. 190 (Woodlands) (formerly listed 8.8.66 as Woodlands) - II House. Late C18 with C19 addition. Brick with stone dressings, hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 x 3 bays with extension to rear right of 2 x 2 bays. Stone base and cornice. Windows have gauged-brick flat arches and are sashed with glazing bars. Entrance has elliptical porch with hipped roof. Timber bracketed canopy and C20 door. Lateral stacks. Right return has painted blind windows and extension, which has hipped stone slate roof and segmental- headed windows.
