This barn, located 15 meters north-east of East Downe Farmhouse, dates from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and cob, with a gable roof covered in corrugated iron. The barn features a side-pegged jointed-cruck roof that includes threaded purlins and a ridge-piece. There is a disused hip cruck at the north-west end.
